Our Founder

MORCEASE J. BEASLEY is an educational leader who has served almost 30 years in school districts in Alabama, Texas, and Georgia. Most recently, he served as superintendent in the metro Atlanta, Georgia area. He holds several degrees: The Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Montevallo; the Master of Science in Mathematics Education; the Educational Specialist in Educational Administration; and the Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership, all from Samford University. He strongly believes that students perform at higher levels when they are provided quality school leaders, teachers, and staff coupled with access to a culture of high expectations, safe environments, and opportunities. He values and appreciates the role of adults in the lives of students. Dr. Beasley knows that students do not choose their initial circumstances in life which makes it incumbent upon the adults in their lives to understand how adult choices and actions fundamentally shape and affect their lives and opportunities. Throughout his educational career, he loved, valued, respected, and expected good decisions of his students as if they were his very own children. Dr. Beasley has also served about 36 years in Christian ministry as a minister, elder, youth pastor, director of ministries, and pastor. His dual profession and career as an educator and minister give him a unique set of experiences, skills, talents, gifts, abilities, and expertise that have contributed to building and lifting the lives of young people and their communities. Dr. Beasley is committed to education and Bible teaching for a new generation. As the father of four children, two millennials and two Gen Zers, he is committed to helping educators improve the quality of education and to encouraging students and families to benefit from the tool of education. His passion for Bible teaching is focused on helping Millennials and Gen Z understand biblical truths that encourage faith in God and successful, godly living. Beasley, a native of St. Albans, New York, also grew up in Birmingham, Alabama, and lives outside of Atlanta with his wife and four children. His life, career, service, leadership, and ministry are firmly grounded in the motto of his alma mater, Samford University—Deo, Doctrinae, Aeternitati: For God, for learning, forever.
